EXTENDED DISCUSSION: Highs will get into the 80s with a few reaching into the 90s this weekend. While this is not record-breaking temperatures, it will be very warm so do stay hydrated if you will be outside. We are tracking a couple of disturbances for early next week. There is not a lot of confidence in rain happening in the panhandles given the dryline will likely be placed near the Texas/Oklahoma state line. This would keep all the rain in Oklahoma and north Texas. We will be warm, dry and breezy to start next week. There is a slim chance for rain Monday and Tuesday in the northern panhandles, but most of the viewing area looks to be in the dry slot of that system. Closer to next weekend we will fall under some northwest flow aloft, a few models suggest that we could see isolated storms next weekend, but there is a lot of disagreement between model runs. Temperatures next week will be a wide variety with highs in the 80s Monday then the 70s Tuesday and Wednesday before we flirt with 100 degrees by next Friday. Stay Tuned!
