A swastika was found carved into a door inside of a residence hall at Brown University on Wednesday.
A university spokesperson said the Brown University Department of Public Safety was notified at 8:30 p.m. of a swastika carved into a restroom in a residence hall on the Pembroke campus.
In a letter to campus, officials said the symbol was immediately removed.
The vandalism is under investigation. Anyone with information is asked to contact public safety.
