JEFFERSON COUNTY, Mo. (TNND) — A Missouri woman was arrested on Christmas Eve for stabbing two people and a dog before she turned the weapon on herself, according to authorities.
The Jefferson County Sheriff's Office identified the suspect as 48-year-old Lisa M. Albrecht, of Barnhart.
Jail records show she was arrested on the following charges:
"The Jefferson County Prosecutor's Office has filed multiple charges against Lisa M. Albrecht (48) of Barnhart for an incident last night at her residence in which she allegedly stabbed two persons and a dog," the sheriff's office wrote on social media on Christmas Day.
Authorities previously said Albrecht was in custody at the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office Jail, where she was held on a “no bond” warrant.
In a follow up comment to the post, the sheriff's office said "the dog was treated and is expected to be released to a rescue organization soon."
Authorities also added it was not a police dog, as one person in the comments said the animal was a K-9 that worked for the sheriff's office.
"It was not a police dog," the sheriff's office said. "The injured dog was stabbed before our deputies arrived."
A 68-year-old man and a 47-year-old woman suffered minor injuries in the attack. Albrecht also sustained minor injuries.
